World Neurofibromatosis Awareness Day
World Neurofibromatosis Awareness Day is observed annually on 17 May. County Hall, Carmarthen will be lit up in blue on the evening of 17 May to mark the occasion. Neurofibromatosis (N.F.) is a condition that causes tumors to grow in the nervous system. There are three types of N.F, — N.F.1, N.F.2, and schwannomatosis. International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia
To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT Day) on 17 May 2025, the pride flag will be flown from Friday 16 to Monday 19 May at County Hall, Carmarthen, Llanelli Town Hall and Ammanford.
