March 29 - Deadline for Shared Prosperity Fund in Carmarthenshire

The UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund in Carmarthenshire is now open, and Carmarthenshire County Council is inviting applications from community organisations and businesses to fund projects which will increase the prosperity of our county.
Carmarthenshire County Council has been allocated £38.6 million of funding through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (UK SPF).
A total of £137.77 million in funding will be coming to South West Wales, through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UK SPF), following approval of the South West Wales’s Regional Investment Plan. Swansea Council will be acting as the lead authority, on behalf of the four councils in the region, with all delivery and funding decisions being made locally by each local authority.
Carmarthenshire County Council has been allocated £38.6 million of funding and a local Regeneration Partnership has been established to guide the delivery of UK SPF in Carmarthenshire.
Cllr. Gareth John - Cabinet Member for Regeneration Leisure Culture and Tourism said:
