Temporary closure of the public gallery at the Council Chamber at County Hall

Following a recent fire safety visit, Carmarthenshire County Council has taken the decision to temporarily close the public gallery within the Council Chamber at County Hall, Carmarthen on health and safety grounds.

Members of the public who wish to observe public meetings can continue to view proceedings via the Council’s website.

Support will be provided for anyone without internet access, with a room made available within County Hall to view the live webcast. For any meetings that are not webcast, arrangements will be made for members of the public to join public parts of these meetings via a remote/online link. 

Arrangements will be made for members of the public to speak or ask a public question to attend the Chamber as normal.
