M4 J47 Penllergaer-J49 Pont Abraham bridge deck refurbishment

Between 6-18 August, South Wales Trunk Road Agency are scheduled to carry out essential maintenance works to improve the long-term resilience of the road network and to prevent unplanned emergency repairs.

A contraflow system (2 lanes in either direction) will be in place for the majority of the programme of works. This will help minimise delays by maintaining the M4's traffic capacity as much as possible.
