Pembrey Country Park Crowned Best Campsite in South West Wales Tourism Awards

Carmarthenshire County Council visitor attraction, Pembrey Country Park is proud to announce its recent achievement of winning the Best Campsite Award at the South West Wales Tourism Awards. This prestigious accolade highlights the park's dedication to providing exceptional facilities, outstanding customer service, and an unforgettable outdoor experience for visitors.

Nestled amidst 500 acres of lush parkland and boasting 8 miles of golden sandy beaches, Pembrey Country Park offers a unique combination of natural beauty and modern amenities. The award recognizes the park's continued commitment to excellence, sustainability, and delivering memorable experiences for families, adventurers, and nature enthusiasts alike.

As a result of this fantastic achievement, Pembrey Country Park will now represent the region at the National Wales Tourism Awards on 27th March 2025. This national platform will showcase the very best of Welsh tourism, and the team at Pembrey Country Park is excited to share their story and passion for hospitality on a larger stage.

In 2025, as a result of receiving SPF funding, the campsite will introduce pay-as-you-go pitches to align with the targets set by the green agenda. Additionally, a new amenity block will be constructed to replace the original facility from the time the campsite first opened.

With exciting developments on the horizon, including the introduction of upgraded facilities and expanded offerings, Pembrey Country Park continues to set the benchmark for outdoor recreation and camping in Wales.
