Shone Hughes elected in the Llanddarog ward by-election

Shone Hughes has been elected the new Carmarthenshire County Councillor for the Llanddarog ward.
A by-election was held on Thursday, 6 March 2025, following the resignation of former councillor Ann Davies MP.
Results of the by election are as follows:
Wayne Erasmus, Gwlad – Wales Can Be Better - 14
Bernard Holton, Reform UK - 145
Shone Hughes, Plaid Cymru - The Party of Wales - 397
Richard Williams, Welsh Conservative Party Candidate - 139
The turnout was 41.25%.
