Carmarthenshire County Council’s Tourism Team is hosting a FREE tourism and hospitality familiarisation visit and roadshow at 10am on Friday, 11 July at Nantgaredig Rugby Club, to help new and existing businesses make the most of the opportunities offered by the Tywi Valley Path.
This is a must-attend event for local tourism businesses - from accommodation providers and cafés to activity operators and attractions. Explore the new route, first-hand, with a guided cycle by Actif Sir Gâr (free hybrid and e-bike hire provided) and learn more about the path’s development, future vision and opportunities. Be among the first to access the brand-new Cycling Toolkit for tourism and hospitality businesses. Take advantage of 1-to-1 advice from Carmarthenshire County Council’s officers on business support, collaboration, promotion, and funding.
Cllr Hazel Evans, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism, Carmarthenshire County Council said:
“The Tywi Valley Path continues to grow into a world-class route that brings real benefits to our communities and our local economy. This new section is a fantastic step forward, linking heritage, landscape, and tourism in a sustainable way. We encourage local businesses to come along and see how they can be part of its success.”
