Carmarthenshire County Council would like to wish the Wales Women’s National Football Team the very best of luck as they prepare for the beginning of their 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO campaign.
The team’s opening match will take place on Saturday, 5 July, with kick-off at 5:00pm.
To wish our girls well for the tournament, Carmarthenshire County Council’s Actif Sport and Leisure team has created a video montage of Carmarthenshire school children showing their support for the Wales team.
Proud to champion women’s sport, Actif Sport and Leisure is committed to creating more inclusive and empowering opportunities for women and girls to get involved in physical activity – in schools, leisure centres, and across the wider community.
Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism, Cllr Hazel Evans said:
