Our crews will be gritting the following Primary Routes overnight tonight, 20/21 November 2025.

Waste/recycling collection disruptions

Due to weather conditions, some waste collection routes are experiencing disruption today.

School closures

Some Carmarthenshire schools are closed. 

Please check with your child’s school before travelling this morning.
Any school closures are updated by schools and listed on our website.

Some areas of Carmarthenshire have had snow overnight.  We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and respond accordingly.

We have 13 road weather monitoring sites across the County, each with fixed cameras that update every 10 minutes. The images can help with assessing current road conditions and for journey planning.

A yellow warning of snow and ice has been issued for parts of Carmarthenshire until midnight tomorrow (Thursday 21 November).

We are out this evening and through the night gritting priority routes. Please keep an eye on weather forecasts and take extra care on your journeys.
