- John Street car park, Carmarthen
- Parc Howard Llanelli
- Llandeilo car park
- Llandovery car park
Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Decarbonisation and Sustainability, Cllr Aled Vaughan Owen commented:
The refill stations aim to give Carmarthenshire residents and tourists a convenient way of refilling their water when out and about, but also tackles the issues surrounding single use plastics by encouraging people to bring reusable water bottles out with them. As a Local Authority, we are committed to contributing to the climate change conversation and improving the environment around us by discouraging the use of single use plastics.
The County Council is committed to tacking climate change issues, this is included in Carmarthenshire County Council’s Wellbeing Objective: Enabling our communities and environment to be healthy, safe and prosperous (Prosperous Communities).
This project has been funded through the Welsh Government’s Local Places for Nature Grant scheme.
