Update – A484 Cwmduad roadworks

Essential work on the A484 at Cwmduad has progressed ahead of programme and the road is scheduled to re-open from 6pm today (Friday 20 February 2026).

All major highway reconstruction works have now been completed, allowing the road to safely re-open before the final resurfacing works are carried out. 

The remaining surfacing works are programmed on Wednesday 4, Thursday 5 and Friday 6 March. Due to the type of work and machinery required, the road will be closed from 9am until 6pm on these days. 

Signed diversion routes will be in place during the closure.
